At McGrath Time & Chime, my goal is to give you the best quality service for your clock.
It takes time and close attention to detail to properly repair and service a clock, and put it back in working condition. I enjoy working on clocks, and you can be sure I will give your clock the attention it requires. Services offered include:
-disassembling and cleaning the movement -carefully inspecting the movement for wear or broken parts -repairing minor wear (e.g., polishing worn pivots, removing minor burrs   caused by wear, replacing taper pins and missing screws) -rebushing worn pivot holes -polishing brass parts, including weights, pendulum, gears and plates -lubricating the movement -reassembling and testing the movement (minimum of 3 weeks) -instructions for setting up your clock once it is back at your location When you call to discuss repairing your clock, we will negotiate your dropping off the clock, or my picking up and delivering it. I also accept clocks that have been properly packed and shipped. Please call before shipping your clock and I will provide you with instructions for proper packing of your clock. |
